The 5 Types of Thanksgiving Posts

In honor of Thanksgiving here are the 5 types of posts you can expect to see from your friends and family (maybe even yourself) this Thanksgiving:

1. The Food Post

Whether it’s a picture of their turkey and mashed potatoes or a pumpkin pie with too much whipped cream you can expect to see that delicious food in every filter from Amaro to Valencia. Maybe not Kelvin though, nobody uses that.

2. The Thankful Post

“I’m thankful for…” Family, friends, a job, my country, etc. This is a guaranteed post for any Thanksgiving day.

3. The Black Friday Post

It’s 2 A.M. and after gorging yourself on turkey and napping your afternoon away what are you doing? Black Friday shopping of course! Expect posts depicting the long lines, crazy stories, and tired antics of all the individuals involved.

4. The Generic “Happy Thanksgiving” Post

Self-explanatory “Happy Thanksgiving” skips any of the extra details that bog down a timeline.

5. “Don’t forget those without”

Holidays wouldn’t be complete without remembering those who have not. The best reason for a holiday is to reflect on those we have lost and those who could use our financial assistance and time.

On that note, what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
